Stephanie Broaders develops leaders by combining decades of business experience in global talent and leadership development with her passion for unlocking a leader’s purpose so they can reach new levels of success. Stephanie spent most of her career working as an HR leader within a Fortune 100 organization where she developed strong business acumen and expertise in talent development. This background earns her a great deal of credibility in the classroom and makes her an extremely valuable and relatable coach. She approaches each executive coaching engagement with the intention of evoking sustained behavior change and clearing the path for action. She also guides leaders to understand their self-imposed limitations, reframe assumptions, and identify actions that are aligned both with their values and business outcomes. Stephanie is also a teacher at heart, designing and delivering meaningful experiential development programs that cultivate awareness and provide transformational growth. She has significant experience developing female leaders who are rising into higher-level leadership positions. More About Me

I started my career at Duke Energy (formerly Cincinnati Gas and Electric), where I gained foundational experiences in organization development, high performance team coaching, and strategic planning. Most of my career was spent working at GE where I joined as a Human Resources Manager and steadily progressed through various leadership roles, including a learning leadership role where I was responsible for delivering leadership development and professional skills training to 15,000 global employees.

My passion lies in growing and developing strong, adaptable leaders. Over my GE tenure, I had the privilege of: Identifying and coaching future leaders to help organizations build a talent pipeline and close critical gaps, curating learning experiences that shift leader’s perspectives and inspire transformative work, and leading succession planning and talent review processes at the business and P&L level.

I have also served as a Program Director at UNC Executive Development where I focused on the design and delivery of customized learning experiences for organizational leaders from the C-suite to entry-level management. I continue to serve the UNC community as an executive coach.

When I’m Not Working …

I live in Charlotte, NC with my husband, Jesse, and our 2 adult children, Jessica and Stefone.  We are total foodies, so we appreciate exploring new restaurants and enjoying a nice meal filled with lots of laughter and love.  We’re also sports enthusiasts and love watching our favorite teams play: The Cincinnati Bengals, Ohio State Buckeyes, and Boston Celtics.  I am most proud of Jessica and Stefone who have grown into amazing and thriving adults.  In my spare time, you’ll find me reading a good book, riding my bike on a local greenway, or spending quality time with friends and family.
