My Background

I began my career in sales with Pfizer, working a rural territory in upstate New York. From educating physicians and working within teaching hospitals I was promoted into Pfizer’s learning and leadership organization. That’s when I first realized my true calling, educating and developing others to be able to realize their maximum potential. After 20 years with Pfizer I moved to GE heading up a sales training team for GE’s US Healthcare division. From GE Healthcare I was promoted into GE Coroporate marketing and communications which ultimately led to my becoming part of the GE Crotonville leadership team, a dream come true and the 10 year capstone to my corporate learning and development experience.

While at Crotonville I was involved in strategic customer education and executive leadership development. Having the great fortune to work with some of the best minds in the leadership development space I honed my skills in facilitation, program strategy and design and leading teams. I also discovered my passion for coaching, became master facilitator certified in the ‘Leader as Coach’ and was responsible for leading an internal coaching certification program, while also developing a ‘bench’ of coaches dedicated to coaching GE executives.

I’m adept at delivering sessions both in the classroom and virtually along with being a strategic partner in the design of blended learning solutions. I’ve led teams that worked across businesses in the Corporate, Aviation and Healhtcare sectors and have had the good fortune to lead leadership learning initiatives worldwide in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America.

Why I Work

“Everyone wants to feel that within their organization they’re part of something great, that their work has meaning and that their ability to grow, contribute, and realize a bright future are all possibilities. Leaders have the ability to create that ‘something great’ and nothing excites me more than helping leaders develop the skills to unlock all that’s possible within their teams.  My‘super power’ is a unique ability to influence hearts and minds, helping organizations to focus on their most valuable resource, people!”

When I Am Not Working

My husband Scott and I live in NYC, 4 short blocks from Central Park which is our urban backyard. We’ve got 3 grown daughters, Jamie, Mollie and Kelsey who live respectively in London, Stamford Connecticut and Las Vegas, so travel is a constant for us. Jamie’s husband Chris is Welsh, and Mollie’s husband Stephane is Dutch so we are quite the global tribe! Bringing the whole gang together on Cape Cod every summer is an annual highlight.

Scott and I love the city and all it has to offer, balancing it with our ‘out of city’ time hiking in the Hudson Valley and upstate New York.
