More About Me
I've been fortunate to spend more than 25 years doing work I love in talent management and organizational development, helping organizations strengthen their leadership, develop talent, and prepare for the future. My career has taken me inside global corporations, including Toyota and GE Aerospace, as well as startups and mission-driven organizations, where my work has spanned enterprise talent strategy, succession planning, leadership development, and executive coaching. I've helped organizations identify and prepare future leaders, think strategically about the capabilities they'll need, and create opportunities for people to grow into roles they may not have imagined for themselves. What I've particularly enjoyed throughout my career is the opportunity to look at the bigger picture. I'm naturally curious about how businesses operate, what drives their success, and how the decisions they make about people influence their performance. I enjoy asking thoughtful questions, challenging assumptions, and bringing together different perspectives to develop approaches that are both innovative and practical. As a Client Partner at The People Side, I have the opportunity to work with leaders who are thinking boldly about the future of their organizations. I enjoy getting immersed in their businesses, understanding what they're trying to accomplish, and exploring how we can strengthen their leadership and teams to help them get there. For me, the most rewarding partnerships are grounded in trust, characterized by collaboration, and fueled by a shared determination to accomplish something exceptional.
When I’m Not Working …
Being a mom to my adult son (go Buckeyes!) is one of the greatest joys of my life. My family, friends, and faith are a big part of who I am. As a recent transplant to Florida, I'm enjoying the palm trees, blue skies, and ocean breezes, along with discovering the beautiful flowers and wildlife that make this part of the country so special. Having attended high school in Birmingham, England, I developed a love of British television and a healthy appreciation for British humor. I'm also a little obsessed with cats, have a serious appreciation for dark chocolate and strong coffee, and believe almost anything is better with a good '80s playlist. I enjoy working out, taking long walks on the beach, and finding reasons to laugh along the way. I believe we're never too old to learn something new, try something different, or find a little adventure in the ordinary.
