“By far one of the most outstanding leadership development professionals and executive coaches I have met through my journey at Harvard, Deutsche Bank and GE. Extremely thoughtful, genuine and considerate which makes her my go-to for leadership development, and new initiatives I am looking to spearhead.”

– Business Leader, GE

My Background

Since starting The People Side in 2006, I have had the privilege of developing thousands of leaders across numerous Fortune 500 organizations including GE, Boeing, Target, Bank of America, and Post Consumer Brands. My career has taken me around the world and introduced me to many incredible people – including those I am now honored to represent at The People Side. Our team is transforming how we develop leaders at work, which is work I am passionate about.

After graduating from Gustavus Adolphus College with Secondary Education and Communication degrees I worked at a temporary staffing agency as a recruiter, which turned into an HR Generalist role with Green Tree Financial, which led me to GE. I was an HR Leader at GE Capital for eight years, where I oversaw leadership development for 6,000+ employees in North America. After leaving GE, I became an adjunct faculty member at GE Crotonville where I taught their best and brightest leaders for over a decade and helped them develop highly immersive learning experiences.

Today, companies look to me and my team at The People Side to develop their most valued employees.  We partner with their internal stakeholders to identify the key development needs and then curate experiences that allow for transformational conversations. Clients appreciate my creativity, candor, and humor as well as the “hard earned insights” that I provide from working across multiple industries and regions of the world.  Traveling with leaders on immersive learning explorations, and leading off-site retreats with women or work teams in crisis, is the work I find most fulfilling.

Why I Work

“I am passionate about helping companies improve the people side of performance. Our team is committed to revolutionizing where, how, and what we teach business leaders so people can bring their whole selves into every conversation, inside and outside of the workplace.”

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota with my husband Fred and our two daughters Olivia and Luciana. I met my husband at GE and we have enjoyed nearly two decades of life together. Our family loves to travel the world and experience new things. We take as many as five vacations a year and use the world as our classroom. I am so proud when I hear my girls speak another language, try an exotic dish, or effectively debate a social issue they are passionate about.

I enjoy Vikings football, a good glass of Napa Cabernet, and daydreams involving tropical climates.
